About Sara

Hi, I’m Sara Elizabeth Bailes.

I live in a small town with my husband, our dogs, a cat who firmly believes she runs the household, and our family.

One day a fantasy world appeared in my imagination and refused to leave me alone until I wrote it down. That story became Nightborne.

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me reading, spending time with my family, or convincing myself I only need to make one small edit before somehow losing the rest of the evening.

So far, one book is published, several more are drafted, and the characters are still talking. I suspect they’ll be keeping me busy for a while.
